Spottswoode Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, 1991, in a 0.75 L bottle, 1 bottle.
Description from the seller
The bottle is a Spottswoode Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, vintage 1991. The wine was rated 96 points by Robert Parker. The bottle size is 0.75 liters and was bottled as a winery bottling by Spottswoode Vineyard & Winery. The fill level in the photo is best classified as Base Neck. The label is overall in good to very good condition, with slight signs of age wear, especially on the back. The closure is overall very well preserved, but shows slight age-related irregularities at the top. Spottswoode was founded in 1972 and produced its first Cabernet Sauvignon in 1982. The 1991 vintage is regarded as an important early vintage for the estate; the wine comprised 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc and was produced in a long, sunny growing season favorable to Napa. Due to its age of over 30 years, it is an aged wine, i.e., a wine of aging potential, which, with proper storage, may be of interest to collectors and enthusiasts of older Napa Cabernets. The bottle is packed as carefully as possible so that it arrives in good condition to the next owner.
