Maurizio Valch (born 1972) presents the original 2026 painting '(XL) LIBRA · Five pale forms in suspension', an acrylic and oil landscape, 105 × 75 cm, from Spain, in excellent condition, shipped unframed and carefully rolled.
Description from the seller
Against a dense field of crimson, five small pale forms appear like mute vessels, each poised on a fine, wavering horizontal trace. The painting turns red into an atmosphere rather than a backdrop: layered, stained, and unsettled. Its sparse architecture asks how fragile markers can orient us inside emotional intensity, while the repeated white lines suggest tenuous ground, shelter, or passage.
I needed this red to hold what language often disperses: pressure, alertness, warmth, and the residue of feeling. The small forms became pauses in that expanse, places where attention can briefly rest without resolving anything. I am drawn to the contradiction of seeking balance in a field that refuses stillness. Painting lets me remain with that instability and discover that vulnerability can also be a way of standing.

I am interested in how a form can remain isolated and still alter what surrounds it. I do not seek to make these marks describe a path or have their relationships resolve into a recognizable figure. I work with the possibility that a surface can retain traces of passage, boundaries, and presences that never fully reveal themselves. Sometimes, a minimal distance between two elements is enough to change the meaning of the entire territory.
**Condition and Shipping**
The artwork is in excellent condition, with no damage or restoration.
It is shipped unframed and unstretched, carefully rolled inside a protective tube to ensure safe delivery.
**About the Artist**
Maurizio Valch is a visual artist, writer, and graphic designer. His work explores metaphysical territories, symbolic landscapes, and the relationship between geological space and human consciousness.
Through dark fields, incised surfaces, monolithic forms, and structural divisions, Valch creates paintings that suggest the emergence of perception within the territory itself.
