Description from the seller
Curata selects objects that tell a story and know how to transform a space into a personal environment. This refined decorative bust in resin perfectly embodies our philosophy: an artistic and contemporary piece, capable of enriching any setting with a touch of elegance and originality.
The work is a modern reinterpretation of Michelangelo's famous David, characterized by a striking two-tone effect: the face and the left side of the bust are in glossy ivory white, while the right side is in deep black, creating a refined visual contrast. The surface is traversed by suggestive golden veins that recall the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi, a symbol of beauty, rebirth, and perfection in imperfection. The glossy finish enhances the sculptural details and the depth of the gaze, making this piece a refined decorative object for studies, libraries, living rooms, or as a gift of great artistic taste.
