Suggestive oil painting on canvas signed A. Comitale, depicting a landscape crossed by a flock of sheep and a female figure. The work stands out for the delicacy of the tones and for the summer atmosphere rendered with swift and vibrant brushstrokes, which give depth and movement to the scene.
Antonio Comitale was a painter active in Italy between the late 19th and early 20th centuries, of Neapolitan origin, known for his naturalistic landscapes of great suggestion, often characterized by rural views and luminous atmospheres typical of the southern painting tradition.
The painting is presented in a platinum-colored frame that enhances its composition.

The work with its frame measures 97 cm wide and 67 cm high. The painting alone on panel measures 80 cm wide and 40 cm high.
On the front the author’s signature; on the back gallery stamp.
