Description from the seller
Compas Dance
Series: Rhythms
A work focused on the meeting of two bodies through dance. Movement, closeness and the play of shapes build a scene full of energy, while the intense orange background turns the space into a kind of vibrant stage.
The blues of the outfits contrast with the orange and add depth, while the brushstrokes of different colors on the dress introduce rhythm and spontaneity. The dancers' postures suggest a moment of complicity and movement, as if the music could be perceived directly through the painting.
Compás Dance speaks of shared rhythm: that moment when two people stop moving separately and begin to form a single choreography.

Brief Bio: I am especially interested in creating compositions that offer the viewer a point of view with which they can identify. Whether through discomfort, serenity, or contemplation, my aim is to generate a space for reflection and questioning. Pintorially, I am drawn to vibrant colors, pronounced saturations, and fresh color ranges.
I find a great source of inspiration in observing our social and natural environment. I often like to imagine observing the planet from far away; that symbolic distance allows me to rethink reality from another perspective. I also explore the universe of the feminine, addressing its multiple dimensions from a personal, sensitive, and introspective standpoint.
