Interesting series of 10 photographs, digital print, high-quality matte lamination, mounted on 3mm Dibond panel, format 62 x 41.5 cm. In perfect condition with a label on the back bearing the musician's name, the Montreux Jazz Festival logo, and the photographer's name, Michael Agel.
The prints were probably used for an exhibition dedicated to the Festival and are in excellent condition, ready to be mounted on a wall.
Michael Agel lives in Wetzlar. He is best known for his work in concert photography, including for famous bands such as Motörhead and Metallica. He began his photographic career in the Leica photography scene in the mid-1990s.
Agel has organized numerous exhibitions across Germany and beyond, including shows in Berlin, Wetzlar, and Oberstdorf. His work often focuses on music and culture. He has also contributed to book projects, such as "Der Wetzlarer Dom – Sichtbares und Verborgenes" (2019).
In addition to his work as a photographer, he has stood out through artistic collaborations. His style is characterized by an intense exploration of light and snapshots, particularly in the context of live performances and artistic staging.
