At auction is an antique Japanese sword of the highest class with 3 NBTHK certificates.

Shodai, (1st generation) Musahi Daijo Korekazu / Kawakami Sakon

in absolutely flawless condition, in top polish and a very high-quality shirasaya with sayagaki, with translation of the sayagaki.

Blade of one of the top Shinto swordsmiths, Jo saku smith, 60 points in Hawley and Toko Taikan 4MY, one of 50 Ryu-Wazamono smiths, (especially sharp sword blades).

Blade in perfect, absolutely flawless top Japanese polish, flawless, two-piece solid silver habaki.

Hada Ko Itame with excellent Ji Nie chickei with Midare utsuri!

Hamon Nioi choji midare with Ko nie sunagashi ashi and yo!

Nakago ca. 3 cm suriage, the last kanji missing due to the old shortening.

This blade is the 1st generation, the founder of the Ishido school and one of the best of his time.

This blade has 3 NBTHK certificates

Green Paper / Tokubetsu Kicho

Blue Koshu Tokubetsu Hozon
a very rare blue paper, issued exclusively by the NBTHK main office in Tokyo (mother house) and the grade before Juyo Token. very rarely awarded only to blades of the highest quality!

This Katana is from one of the leading early top Shinto smiths; the blade is very, very sound and exceptionally well and robustly preserved and has absolutely no flaws!!!

Something like this is hardly found.
