Description from the seller
Sangiorgio Manuela presents 'oasi selvaggia', oil on canvas, an original piece from 2026, 60x80, hand-signed, in excellent condition, produced in Italy and offered directly by the artist, without a frame and ready to hang because with a painted thickness of 2 cm
THE painting captures a moment of suspended exotic harmony, merging the majesty of wildlife with the quiet of a botanical oasis. At the center of the composition a leopard emerges halfway from the calm waters of a lacustrine mirror. The eyes, a magnetic and penetrating green, are fixed toward the observer, giving the scene a strong psychological tension. All around the predator, the surface of the water is studded with dense aquatic vegetation. In the background a dense curtain of trees closes the scene.
Sangiorgio Manuela develops a painting practice focused on reinterpretation of landscapes, city views, and figurative scenes through a visual language based on color and the construction of atmospheres.
Sangiorgio Manuela, born in Monza in 1976, is a figurative painter specializing in oil figurative portraiture. She graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and shortly after began a solid collaboration with historic Venetian art workshops.
