Description from the seller
Centerpiece / Vintage Glass Fruit Basket in Murano Glass – Deep Ruby Red and Golden Aventurine – 1960s
Splendid decorative object in artistic Murano glass, a refined piece that combines high artisanal craftsmanship with timeless chromatic elegance. This is a refined centerpiece basket with a distinctive round shape and raised foot, embellished with an elegant interwoven ring handle and a wavy, beaded rim. The entire piece is made with artistic glass techniques and enriched by rich inclusions of golden aventurine. The main body features a vibrant deep ruby red hue, creating a fascinating and luminous contrast with the iridescent reflections of gold and aventurine: the golden texture reflects light in a unique way, giving the object a three-dimensionality, warmth, and brilliance.
Perfect as an elegant bon-bon holder, decorative centerpiece, or refined pocket-durse (svuota tasche) for the entryway. Ideal for enriching a collectible display or for adding a touch of light and unique design to a coffee table.
