Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
J.G. Graves oversize pocket watch with a 121 g sterling silver 935 case, double casing, Midland Lever from Sheffield, dating to 1850–1900, manual winding movement, 21 mm lug width, case diameter over 50 mm, in very good condition with minimal signs of wear.
Description from the seller
Large and rare pocket watch, J.G. Graves, the Midland Lever, Sheffield.
Over 56 mm in diameter from left to right, and over 121 g in weight, with a double case in Sterling Silver 935, practically almost solid silver (93.5% purity).
Excellent cosmetic condition, very few signs of use, non-invasive and barely visible, not even to the most attentive and demanding eyes.
Meticulous in its details, a bi-tone composition using red in the brand logo on the dial, and datable to the late second half of the 19th century.
An era-appropriate key is present.
As for the functioning, the watch runs well, but the need for cleaning/oiling cannot be ruled out for anyone who wishes to wear it, since I have not tested it over the long term; I therefore recommend in advance lubrication/cleaning to optimize performance and timekeeping over the long term.
