Description from the seller

Beautiful Hanukkiah (Hanukkah menorah) vintage with nine lights, from Israel.

This decorative piece features a particularly elaborate openwork design, with eight candle-holders for the eight days of Hanukkah and a ninth central elevated candle-holder for the Shamash.

The decoration is richly worked with scroll motifs, various relief symbols, and a Star of David integrated into the lower part of the structure.

The inscription “JERUSALEM” is present on the front face of the base, while the reverse clearly bears the mark “ISRAEL.”

The object is made of gold-colored metal, probably a brass-based alloy, with a beautiful antique patina. Some traces of oxidation and wear are visible, consistent with its age and use. Please study the photographs carefully, which are an integral part of the description.

Dimensions:
Height: 31 cm
Maximum width: 26 cm
Base depth: 9 cm
Weight: 790 g

Origin: Israel
Marks: JERUSALEM / ISRAEL
Estimated period: second half of the 20th century
Condition: good vintage condition with patina and normal signs of age.

A beautiful piece of Israeli Judaica, both decorative and functional, interesting for a collection devoted to religious objects and Jewish art of the 20th century.
