Description from the seller
Decorative wall mirrors in a stained-glass style, belonging to the series "The Phases of the Day" by master Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939), in 1899.
One of the most representative series of the Art Nouveau style.
In this lot - "Reverie du Soir", "Eveil du Matin", "Repos de la Nuit" and "Eclat du Jour".
All signed at the bottom "Mucha".
Each one is set in a natural environment and is surrounded by a decorative, intricate frame that resembles a Gothic window.
Alphonse Mucha saw women and the feminine as a counterpoint to the coldness of the Industrial Revolution!
Large, rare, beautiful mirrors full of color and luminosity for a discerning collector.
It should be noted that these are original pieces from the decade between the 1960s and 1970s when Art Nouveau fashion resurged in Europe.
In crystal glass with a chestnut-brown wooden frame with slight flaws.
The items you will receive are the ones photographed.
They will be properly packed and shipped with a tracking code.
Still with the distributor’s sticker in Portugal affixed to the back.
Small wear on the wooden frames, the glass panes are pristine.
