Rural landscapes gathers scenes in which nature and human presence are part of the same territory. Cultivated fields, roads, fences, trees, small structures and, occasionally, animals appear integrated into landscapes where human intervention does not dominate the environment, but participates in its structure and transforms its rhythm.

The compositions begin with field observation to build landscapes interpreted through color, the simplification of forms, and the layering of planes. Parcels, trails, and reliefs organize the pictorial surface and guide the eye through open spaces, hills, and horizons.

The series especially explores the relationship between territory and transformation: the marks left by work, movement, and daily life on the landscape. Light and chromatic variations continually modify these scenes, turning seemingly ordinary places into images of quiet, expansiveness, and contemplation.
