LORIN, an original oil painting titled Red policy, created in 2026 in Italy, measuring 80 by 50 cm, depicting a contemporary portrait, signed and in excellent condition, sold directly by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Original painting by LORIN, part of an ongoing exploration of the human figure that emerges from tactile surfaces and color. Lorin's research focuses on the female figure as an emotional and symbolic space, where presence, identity and perception meet.
"Red Policy" stems from the idea that a policy is a rule established in advance: a principle that defines what is permitted, what is excluded, and the way we choose to behave. Paired with red, a word normally rational and impersonal takes on a different meaning. Red belongs to instinct, energy, desire, but also to danger and limit.
In the painting the color seems to cross the boundaries of the figure. It does not remain confined to the dress, but invades the surrounding space through brushstrokes and drips, while the woman maintains a controlled attitude. It is precisely this contrast that suggests the central idea: how much of what we feel can truly be regulated?
- Originality: Each work is an original piece, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
- Condition: The work is professionally mounted on a wooden frame and is ready to hang, with no need for further interventions or processing.
- Protection: Careful packaging with professional materials to ensure maximum protection during transport.
- Shipping: Fast shipping. For shipments outside the European Union, delivery times may vary based on local customs procedures.
Some images may present the work placed in illustrative settings, to facilitate visualization in different contexts or with different framing solutions. The proportions are consistent with the actual dimensions of the work.
