Description from the seller
This is Beautiful (from the "Flowering" series) Diptych
This work is a powerful fusion of Pop Art, Street Art, and Abstraction. It consists of two separate canvases that together form an imposing total surface of 180 cm wide and 60 cm high (each panel measures 90x60 cm).
About the work:
"This is Beautiful" is a visual feast of color. The luminous, neon-like dabs of pink, blue, yellow, and green create stylized blossom forms on a deep blue, misty background. The fine black lines and splashed color accents generate a dynamic energy that is typical of the artist's street-art aesthetic.
Special Highlights:
Shimmering effects: The spray paint elements used react to light and create subtle, shimmering metallic effects that give the work depth depending on the viewing angle.
Hidden message: A special detail of this unique piece is hidden in the background. The title of the work, "This is Beautiful," is embedded in the bottom layers and appears subtly through the color chaos, offering the viewer a deeper level of discovery.
Condition & Presentation:
The diptych is in pristine, like-new condition. The edges are painted so the images can be hung directly without an external frame (Ready-to-hang). The side profiles are 2 cm deep, giving the work a solid presence on the wall.
The work is signed on the back. It is offered directly from the artist's studio. A signed certificate of authenticity accompanies the work and guarantees its originality.
Details:
Technique: Mixed media (acrylic and high-quality spray paints) on canvas
Dimensions (Overall): 180 cm (W) x 60 cm (H) x 2 cm (D)

In 2003, Yannick Leniger began graffiti painting and gained experience handling spray paints and the various substrates during nocturnal actions.
In 2010, Yannick Leniger started creating his characteristic works from the Flowering series, which have enjoyed great popularity. By combining spray paints and acrylics, Leniger developed various techniques that yield unique effects in the works.
These mixed techniques are also found in Leniger's current works. Influenced by artists such as Christiaan Lieverse and Pier Toffoletti, contemporary pieces depict people fashioned with textural elements. In several steps, parts are concealed, revised, and emphasized.
From 2019 to 2022, Yannick Leniger was a member and treasurer of Kunstforderer e.V. in Unna and supported the association in a variety of creative projects with children and young people, schools, and after-school programs.
