An original1904 interactive anatomical atlas titled "Chelovek"("Human"), published in Kiev by the South Russian Publishing House ofF. A. Ioganson.

This rare educational medical book features beautifully printed layered anatomical flap illustrations, allowing the viewer to explore the different systems of the human body by lifting each layer. It was designed as a teaching aid and is an excellent example of early 20th-century medical publishing.

Condition:
Overall good antique condition for an item over 120 years old. The most valuable and complex multi-layered anatomical parts (including the torso,intestines, and internal organs flaps) are 100% intact, fully functional, and complete.

Please note the defects: The cloth spine shows a visible split/tear along the edge, and the cover corners have typical antique wear and fraying.Two flat paper head elements have become detached over time, but they are fully preserved, feature highly detailed double-sided printing, and are included in the lot for easy restoration. There are a few pencil annotations throughout. The color illustrations remain bright and attractive.
