AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Artwork by artist Alberto Ricardo created in mixed media on high-quality printed canvas. Dimensions: 69 x 69 cm of painting. Original edition. Shipping will be carried out via United Parcel Service (UPS) for Spain and Europe, and via FedEx for the rest of the world. The work will be rolled up and protected by several layers of packaging, bubble wrap, and placed in a sturdy tube. Once the work is paid for, three days are required for the packaging process and delivery to the shipping company. The piece will arrive within ten days, depending on the destination country.
This mixed-media work on printed canvas fuses the classic iconography of Marilyn Monroe with the vibrant aesthetics of street art and contemporary pop art, using the calligraphic repetition of the word 'love' as a structural and expressive element. Through a dynamic color palette and a layering of textures that frame the actress's most emblematic features—such as her red lips and melancholic gaze—the artist seeks to convey the duality of a myth of popular culture. In this way, the identity of the great cinema diva is revealed and hidden simultaneously under the weight of mass adoration, collective desire, and the universal concept of love transformed into a visual mantra that saturates the canvas.
Seller's Story
Our project emerges as an online art gallery dedicated to promoting and representing young Cuban and Spanish artists with a promising trajectory and a distinctive, authentic, and recognizable visual language. Our project is born with the aim of bridging emerging artistic creation and international collecting.
We curate a carefully chosen selection of works that ranges from modern and contemporary styles to reinterpretations of classical art and avant-garde propositions, always prioritizing quality, expressive power, and the artistic identity of each creator. Each represented artist develops a unique style, which gives our works character, personality, and real artistic value.
All the works we offer are original, created with traditional and mixed techniques, and selected under curatorial criteria that ensure authenticity, aesthetic coherence, and excellence in execution. Our aim is to provide collectors and art lovers with pieces with soul, capable of engaging both with contemporary spaces and with more classical collections.
Based in Spain, Kiri Art Studio operates internationally, committed to professional service, close communication, and a safe and transparent purchasing experience. We believe in art as both a cultural and emotional investment, and in guiding the buyer as a fundamental part of the artistic process.
