I am AniB – an artist with Latvian roots, living in Germany since 1990.
Today my works almost exclusively take shape on paper. This more compact and calmer approach to work aligns not only with my creative process but is also a response to health challenges. It suits my daily life and gives me the space to fully immerse myself in the motif.

My works often come in small series and in changing styles – for me, art lives on curiosity, not repetition.
I studied art and illustration in Riga; since the 1990s I have worked professionally – with exhibitions both here and abroad.

I love creating figures with personality – beings that carry a small story within themselves. Sometimes quirky, sometimes quietly contemplative, often with a wink.

Each of my works is a handmade original – painted with care, humor, and heart. Perhaps one of them will speak to you.
