Verbael held by the Lords H. van Beverningk, W. Nieupoort, J. van de Perre and A. P. Jongestal, as deputies and extraordinary ambassadors of the Lords States General of the United Netherlands, to the Republic of England.
Wherein it was found at length that the Peace negotiations with the aforesaid Republic under the Protectorate of Cromwell, and all that passed concerning the famous Act of Seclusion of the Prince of Orange as claimed by Cromwell.
Also filling in the time and matters that pertain to the letters of the Raad-Pensionaris J. de Witt and other Ministers, concerning the English negotiation, unfolded.
