Original stainless steel sculpture Blood Candy Girl II by Artur Dudek (2026), created with TIG welding, dimensions 76 × 36 × 18 cm, signed by the artist, finished in a three-layer Candy Blood Red coating.
Description from the seller
Original sculpture made of stainless steel, built from hundreds of hand-joined flat rings. Individual elements were precisely joined using TIG welding, creating a latticed, spatial form with an organic silhouette.
After the welding process was completed, the surface was properly cleaned and prepared for a multi-layer finish. The sculpture was coated with a three-layer Candy Blood Red finish. A characteristic feature of this type of finish is the variability of color perception — depending on the angle of light, the surface shifts from deep red and burgundy, through cherry tones, to intense, almost metallic gleams.
The openwork construction means the sculpture is not a closed block. Light penetrates through its structure, casting onto the ground characteristic shadows composed of repeating circles. As a result, the work changes its appearance with lighting and the viewing point — its form remains in constant dialogue between matter, light and space.
The contrast between the rawness of steel, the precision of welding, and the intense, multi-layer Candy Blood Red coating gives the piece a contemporary, striking character. The repetition of rings builds a rhythm, while their spatial arrangement creates a sense of lightness and an almost “floating” construction.

Artur Dudek (born 1985) – a sculptor artist
Artur Dudek (born 1985) is a Polish artist creating contemporary steel sculptures. In his work, he focuses on exploring the relations between matter, form, light, and space, using metal to build organic and sensuous structures.
A distinctive element of his works are flat metal rings, from which the artist manually constructs spacious, latticed forms. Individual elements are joined by TIG welding, then carefully cleaned and finished. This process preserves the precision of construction while giving each work its own character.
Light plays an important role in Dudek’s sculptures. The open structure allows light to pass through the form, creating changing shadows and reflections. As a result, the perception of the work depends not only on its shape but also on the viewing location and lighting conditions.
The artist also experiments with color finishing of the surface. In the presented work, a three-layer Candy Blood Red coating was used, giving the color exceptional depth and changing its character depending on light intensity and angle — from deep burgundy to intense, luminous red.
Dudek’s work combines technical precision with artistic intuition. Industrial material, stainless steel, is transformed into a visually light, organic form. The repetition of rings creates rhythm and structure, while the spaces between them give the sculpture lightness and allow it to engage in dialogue with its surroundings.
An important element of the artist’s past achievements is the participation of his sculpture in the post-competition exhibition of the 49th Interdisciplinary Visual Arts Competition of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship “Przedwiośnie” at the Bureau of Artistic Exhibitions in Kielce in 2026. Showcasing the work at BWA Kielce represents a significant step in the development of his artistic activity.
Artur Dudek consistently develops his own sculptural language, based on the combination of geometry, organic form, rhythm, light, and metal. His works are created as authorial, hand-made objects in which technology and craft become tools of deliberate artistic expression.
Attached to the sculpture is a Certificate of Authenticity guaranteeing that I personally created the sculpture.
The sculpture is ready to be hung on the wall.
