For this series Alessandro will ink another two stories before his debut as a penciller on the pages of Topolino. Donald Duck and Scrooge McDuck at the Paperlux Hotel of June 2001 is the first story that sees him as the lead in drawings in the weekly.
In 2002, together with his brother Lorenzo, he draws PK2 issue 16 titled Capitano di ventura, then becoming one of the leading artists of the reboot of the saga, PK - Pikappa. In 2006 he participates, together with other artists, in the Wizards of Mickey saga, written and conceived by Stefano Ambrosio. Basettoni e il vero effetto sorpresa, dating back to 2010, is the last story published by the author on the pages of Topolino.
Disney Extra Career
In 2007 he illustrates, for Edizioni Piemme, a Geronimo Stilton book, handling the graphic realization and colors. In 2008 he decides to venture into realistic comics, collaborating with Edizioni Star Comics for the series Jonathan Steele and San Michele. From 2011 he begins his collaboration with Sergio Bonelli Editore, and becomes part of the staff of the new series conceived by Bruno Enna, SAGUARO, signing two issues of the series.
In 2015 the author returns to work for Disney Italia, participating in the production of STAR WARS - Episode IV - A New Hope.
