Werther Dell’Edera established himself as a illustrator in Italy, initially with series such as Detective Dante and John Doe, before joining the Sergio Bonelli Editore roster, on Orfani and Dylan Dog. Dell’Edera has also published with all major American comic publishers: Marvel, DC Comics, Image, Dark Horse and IDW. On scripts by Roberto Recchioni, Dell’Edera illustrated a miniseries of The Crow - Il Corvo, picking up the James O’Barr saga. He has also illustrated the novels of Alessandro Piperno Persecuzione and Inseparabili, the latter a novel winner of the Premio Strega. For Feltrinelli Comics, Le voci dell'acqua (2019; with Tiziano Sclavi).
