2 Stars Guide Hachette 100% pinot noir, aromas of cherries, white pepper, hint of spice, earthy notes. Medum-bodied, smooth and silky, medium-plus acidity, refined tannins, long finish. Aged for 15 to 18 months in a mix of new and used French oak barrels. Bottled at the domaine. Perfect for drinking now and will cellar through 2031. Run by Jacques Dubois, this 10-hectare domaine in Chorey les Beaune has been in the Dubois family for 4 generations and includes parcels in Aloxe-Corton and Beaune 1er Cru. Jacques is known for making full-bodied, aromatic wines with a long cellaring potential. Shipped from France.
