Hanuman - Wood - India - 19th century

Very old Hanuman statue, India
with aged patina and remnants of paint.
Impressive and rare figure from the 19th century.
Pieces of the arms are missing on this old figure.
Somehow it doesn't seem to bother. And it shows its enormous age
and wear.
And makes this object very interesting. The hard wood is in excellent condition.
So that I rate this figure as being in good condition.
It weighs 1.5 kg.
