Jardinière - Bamboo

Charming and sturdy jardinière/plant stand (or large container basket) of a low cylindrical shape, dating to the 60s-70s (Mid-Century - colonial-exotic style).
Dimensions: diameter 51.5 cm, height 22 cm.
Main frame and reinforcing edges in full, curved bamboo canes; side walls made with a dense, regular weave of light-colored bamboo slats forming a mat.
The bottom consists of a solid plywood panel.
Thanks to its proportions (large diameter and low rim), it is perfect as an elegant indoor planter to accommodate several pots or green plants, or as a refined boho-chic home accessory, magazine holder, or multipurpose basket.
In good vintage condition. Shows normal light signs of wear and aging, evidencing the object's authenticity and era. The structure is solid and intact.
