Description from the seller
This is a Manipuri singing bowl. Manipuri singing bowls are mostly used for relaxation and because of their beautiful shape. In the past these bowls were regarded as valuable objects that were given to others as a symbol of love and respect, and today they are valued as much as gold and silver.
Singing bowls, also called meditation chakra bowls, healing singing bowls or Himalaya singing bowls, have been widely used since antiquity in Nepal and Tibet, especially by Buddhist monks, for meditation, religious ceremonial music, traditional ritual offerings, to pray with them (as prayer bowls) and as traditional musical instruments.
