Title: Soffio turquese
Measurements: 70x60 cm
Year: 2023
Eva Villa is an Italian painter who works mainly with oil painting. Her research focuses on the relationship between body, water, and light, depicting figures immersed in aquatic environments suspended between realism and dreamlike suggestion. Through reflections, bubbles, and chromatic distortions, the artist transforms the body into a fluid and sensitive presence, where water becomes living matter, capable of altering perception and amplifying emotion. Her works tell intimate and silent moments, traversed by color, movement, and lightness.
NB: The work will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
