Early Art Nouveau rose gold brooch from England, pre-1890, with a central water lily motif, made in 9K (375) gold, weighing 2.5 g and measuring 1.5 × 4 cm, featuring a C-hook pin, with no laboratory report and in good condition for ladies.
Description from the seller
A beautiful early Art Nouveau rose-gold brooch with a flowering waterlily at the center. The brooch was made in England in the period before 1890.
The brooch has a C-clasp in which the pin sits securely. From a small ring at the back it can be inferred that a safety chain was once mounted.
The brooch bears old English hallmarks: FS? as maker's mark, 9, 375 and a portrait of the Queen that was used until 1890. Because of the soldered-on ring, the maker's mark and the town mark are no longer legible. Also on the side there is again a 9 and 375 stamped. The pin is non-precious metal.
Dimensions: 1.5 x 4 cm
Weight: 2.5 grams
Depending on your location, it will be shipped with DHL Express or UPS. Combined shipments are possible; please drop us a message if you plan to purchase multiple items or have already done so. If you have not yet paid for the 2nd and subsequent items, we can remove the shipping cost for those items. If you pay for all items with shipping costs, we can refund the surplus via IBAN or PayPal. Please also send a message in that case.
