Description from the seller
René Schloesser – Tradition Brut Champagne – 4 × 75 cl
An attractive four-bottle lot of René Schloesser Tradition Brut, produced by Champagne Tribaut-Schloesser in Romery. A Champagne with family heritage, combining a fresh, fruit-driven style with the added depth of oak-aged reserve wines. The producer describes this cuvée as balanced, with good length and particular appeal as an aperitif.
According to the labels on the offered bottles, the blend draws on eight terroirs across the Vallée de la Marne and Montagne de Reims, bringing together 50% Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir.
The blend includes 20% reserve wines matured in large oak foudres, while 24 months of ageing on the lees before disgorgement adds another layer of maturation. A restrained dosage of 6 g/l completes this carefully crafted Brut.
Vivino: 4.1/5, based on more than 500 ratings for the cuvée overall.
