Antique Bohemian garnet star brooch, circa 1860–1880, made in Tombak with gold doublé, featuring 161 round-cut garnets totaling 32.0 ct on a Victorian oval 12-point star, with no laboratory report.
Description from the seller
The ancient Bohemian garnet star Brooch is crafted in original Tombak/Gold doublé.
The brooch features an oval 12-pointed star shape. It is fully set with round faceted blood-red Bohemian garnets in antique rose-cut and table-cut styles, arranged on different levels. The reverse bears the long pin with pin-clip and pin-hook.
Brooch size approximately 4.6 cm x 3.8 cm
A very nicely preserved Bohemian goldsmith’s work from around 1860/80.
The stated number of garnets is only an approximate value and does not claim completeness. An error in the counted quantity is not a malicious intention but merely an oversight and does not justify a request for exchange.
Shipping is in a new jewelry case/jewelry pouch.
The depicted jewelry cases, stands, displays, or other photographic aids are the property of the photographer and do not form part of the offer.
The color may vary slightly depending on lighting, camera settings, or monitor display.
Shipping as insured parcel.
NOTE: Customs duties and import fees for the respective countries, as well as any island delivery charges (currently 50.- EUR), are the responsibility of the buyer.
We expressly point out that, following the EU’s revised withdrawal rights, buyers bear the cost of return shipping, regardless of any value threshold or the reason for the return.
I have no influence over the processing times of the shipping companies in the respective EU countries.
If you have questions about shipping duration, please contact your national post office and be patient if necessary.
Due to unsettled customs and duties regulations, shipping to the USA is currently not possible.
