The Inhabitant by Artur Sudak (born 1965) is a 70 × 70 cm oil painting, an original edition created in 2026, hand-signed, produced in Poland and sold directly by the artist, in excellent condition with an included certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
A Resident is an intriguing, anxious composition in which the artist explores the relationship between human loneliness and powerful, alien structures. The square canvas depicts an endless, sunburned wasteland, on which a gigantic, ruined building rises, supported by massive, organic piles and stabilized by a network of hanging ropes. A tiny figure of a wanderer at the foot of the structure intensifies the impression of monumental scale and isolation. The painting captivates with rich painterly texture, a contrast between warm tones and a cool, stormy sky, and a deep, metaphysical atmosphere.
Born in 1965. A self-taught painter and graphic artist.
He completed the Practical Course of Painting and Drawing Larousse. He works in many styles, but he is particularly close to realist painting, romanticism, and classical aesthetics inspired by the tradition of the École des Beaux-Arts.
He has over 2000 paintings to his name, mainly in private collections in Poland and abroad.
Selected exhibitions:
2019 – solo exhibition at the Bolków Castle Museum
May 2022 – outdoor painting exhibition, Wilanów Art Center
