Bottle number A933. Bottled by Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Un-chillfiltered European export bottling.
Condition as shown in the photos: good fill level, label in good condition, capsule present but with visible wear and small tears at the top. Sold without original box.
A scarce 15-year-old Van Winkle rye bottled not earlier than 2001 at 100 proof and not chill-filtered. The latter fact is of particular interest to collectors as this was done as this bottling was for the European market as 'an experiment' confirmed by Julian Van Winkle III. So it should contain extra flavours, the the normally chill-filtered versions do not offer.
