Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Swiss Made pocket watch from 1850–1900 with a key-wound movement, 46 mm case diameter, case possibly silver (unverified), reference 609922, weight 86 g, in working order and showing wear with patina, includes a decorative linked chain and a winding key, shipment insured.
Description from the seller
Swiss-made pocket watch from the late nineteenth century, key-wound. The inner cover bears the engraving “Cylindre – 10 rubis.” Case diameter about 46 mm, excluding pendant and ring.
The case features a refined floral and vegetal decoration along the edge. The white dial, with black Roman numerals and outer minute ring, is adorned with small gold-colored dots. Of particular interest are the elaborately worked and pierced hands, with blue reflections, which stand out on the light background, aiding readability of the time and adding a refined aesthetic detail.
The case is presumably silver, but the material has not been verified: there are hallmarks not clearly identifiable, which do not allow confirming composition or fineness.
The watch is wound; its accuracy and power reserve are not guaranteed. It shows patina, signs of wear, and small scratches, as documented in the photographs.
Included are the decorative-link chain and the key. The photographs are an integral part of the description.
Shipping will be handled via the Spedizione Smart service of Catawiki, with Poste Italiane, Bartolini or UPS.
