Yves Offret (1946 – 2004)
Norman painter
Born in 1946, Yves Offret devoted his life to painting, developing a body of work deeply rooted in his native Normandy.
His studio, based in Conches-en-Ouche, was the site of pictorial exploration attentive to the landscapes, changing lights and atmospheres of the region.
In the 1980s, he notably exhibited at Galerie Tuffier in Les Andelys, where his work drew the attention of an audience receptive to the poetry of his paintings.
