Description from the seller

Elegant lot consisting of four decorative plates by Henriot Quimper, made in glazed faience and hand-decorated according to the Breton ceramic tradition of Quimper, France.
Each plate features a rich polychrome decoration in the characteristic tones of blue, yellow, green and red/orange, with a shaped rim and different motifs.
The lot comprises two plates with a bird in flight and floral motifs, a plate with a lively floral composition, and a fourth piece decorated with the traditional rooster, one of the most recognizable subjects of Breton popular production.
On the back there is the handwritten signature/mark “HenRiot Quimper”.
The manual workmanship makes each piece slightly different from the others and gives the group a pleasant artisanal character. Particularly decorative both when hung on the wall and when included in a collection of French ceramics.
Diameter: about 25 cm each.
Quantity: 4 plates.
Origin: Quimper, Brittany, France.
Material: faience/glazed multicolored ceramic.
Condition: good vintage condition overall, with normal light signs compatible with age and use; please refer to the photographs for a detailed assessment.
