Wyler Vetta Dynawind automatic watch with a 38 mm stainless steel case, champagne/silver dial, automatic movement, reference 2783.0427, dating to the 1970s, with a long steel bracelet and a good condition showing signs of wear.
Description from the seller
Wyler Vetta Incaflex Dynawind automatic, dating roughly to the 1970s, characterized by a pronounced “TV/cushion” aesthetic, particularly representative of the watch design of the period.
The steel case measures 38 × 43 mm and features wide brushed surfaces, with normal scratches and signs due to use and age.
The champagne/silver dial preserves a vertical satin finish, baton-style applied indices, central hands and a date window framed at 3 o’clock. Patina, small spots and surface alterations consistent with age are visible, especially in the peripheral area: elements that document the natural aging of the specimen.
Particularly interesting is the automatic mechanical movement, visible in the photographs, with a gold rotor signed WYLER FY. The dial bears the designations INCAFLEX and Dynawind: Incaflex identifies the famous system developed by Wyler to increase the balance wheel’s shock resistance, while Dynawind was used by the Maison to identify numerous automatic models.
The steel case back internally bears the numbers 2783.0427 / 1160. As there is no available documentation of a recent service, the watch is offered as an unserviced vintage specimen. No water-resistance warranty is provided.
Wyler holds a special place in twentieth-century horology history thanks mainly to the development of the Incaflex system and the strong diffusion of the Wyler Vetta brand on the Italian market. This specimen brings together two highly recognizable elements of 1970s production: automatic movement and a large geometric steel case.
