VOLTA presents an original acrylic painting titled NO RESERVE "Under a Watching Moon", signed by hand, created in 2026, in excellent condition, unframed and rolled for shipment, image size 65 × 95 cm (overall 75 × 105 cm), green-dominated landscape depicting nature, produced in Italy and sold directly by the artist with a digital certificate available on request.
Description from the seller
The whole painting is held in a single shade of green: green the evening sky, green the still water, almost black the foliage that occupies the right half and closes like a wall. The moon is already high, small and full, and its light stretches across the pond in a pale stripe among the water lilies. Within this quiet, the balloons enter — red, blue, yellow, purple — painted with dense, full strokes, without shading — and they rise in dozens from the grass toward the top, positioning themselves in front of the trees as if depth did not concern them. A heron crosses the foreground almost covered by that color, with the calm of someone who has seen nothing. The evening remains the same, silent and closed; it is the painting that has let something in that did not belong to it.

Volta’s search moves along the path of a return — not nostalgic, but active. The great tradition of European painting is the starting point: the period each work evokes, from time to time. But the gesture with which this heritage is traversed is unequivocally contemporary. Color does not illuminate, it breathes. The brushstroke does not describe, it vibrates. What remains of the past is the deep structure — a certain idea of body, of space, of light — while the surface is entirely present, entirely alive. Volta does not quote, it restitutes: his compositions seem to emerge from a shared cultural memory, brought to light with different eyes.
