Six-piece porcelain tea service in the imperial form by Richard Ginori of Italy, circa 1937, in white with dark green bands and gold trim, comprising a teapot with lid, a sugar bowl with twin handles, and two teacups with saucers, with minor signs of wear and a small chip on the handle of one cup.
Description from the seller
A most refined set in the Art Deco/Novecento style, manufactured in 1937 in prestigious, very fine porcelain... The service belongs to the renowned Italian manufactory Richard Ginori, specifically to the line produced by the historic "Pittoria di Doccia". This set presents the classic and elegant Empire shape, characterized by clean, geometric lines and full-sized curved handles typical of the neoclassical taste of the Tuscan manufactory. The decoration is essential and refined: a dark green band (or jade/emerald green) bordered by thick profiles and edges in guilloché gold. On the bottom of these pieces is the prestigious maker's mark with the gilded cartouche of Pittoria di Doccia.
The shown set includes:
• A teapot with lid and gilded knop.
• A sugar pot coordinated with twin handles.
• Two tea cups with their respective saucers.
The conditions are good with normal signs of time and use; to note, on the handle of one of the cups there is a small chip, as shown in the photo.
See the photo for the conditions and dimensions of all pieces.
I do not ship outside the European Community.
The lot will be carefully packed and shipped in a reinforced polystyrene box.
