The figure represents the Virgin Mary standing, with her gaze raised and her hands crossed over the chest, in a composition of marked devotional character. She wears an ivory-toned tunic, richly ornamented with vegetal motifs and gilding, and a blue mantle decorated with small golden stars, habitual attributes of the Immaculate iconography. At her feet there is a cloud base with three cherubs, which complete the composition and reinforce its celestial character.

The polychromy, decorative motifs and the treatment of the drapery impart to the piece a notable ornamental effect, typical of religious imagery from the early 20th century. It bears marks on the back related to its manufacture in Christian art workshops.

The piece preserves its original polychromy with signs of use and age corresponding to its time. It presents a small defect in the nose area, visible in the photographs.
