Description from the seller

Fabio Tagliapietra – Sculpture in Murano Calcedonio glass, 2026

Elegant contemporary sculpture entirely handmade by master glassmaker Fabio Tagliapietra, in Murano artistic glass.

The work consists of two elongated, dynamic elements, characterized by fluid lines and shapes reminiscent of sails driven by the wind. The transparent surfaces enclose the extraordinary nuances of Calcedonio glass, with color variations ranging from blue and light blue to violet, amber and gold.

The particular nature of Calcedonio glass makes each creation unique and unrepeatable: colors and reflections continually change depending on the light and the angle from which the sculpture is viewed.

Made according to the ancient techniques of the Murano glass tradition and reinterpreted by the artist in a contemporary language, this work combines color research, movement and transparency.

The sculpture is presented on an elegant black base that further enhances the lightness and dynamism of the composition.
