Description from the seller
Nice and elegant vintage Omega from the 1950s, equipped with the hand-wound Omega Calibre 244.
The watch features a classic champagne/silver-colored dial with gold-colored baton indices and hands. The slim case and long lugs give the watch the typical elegant appearance of Omega from this period.
The inside of the case back is marked with Omega Watch Co., reference 2820-7 and “Plaqué Or L 80 Microns”. The case is thus provided with a relatively thick gold layer of 80 microns. The original Omega movement is numbered 16.958.618.
Specifications: Omega ref. 2820-7, mechanical hand-wound Calibre 244, circa 1950s, case diameter approx. 21 mm excluding crown, gold-plated case (80 microns), black leather strap and gold-colored buckle.
The watch is in a neat vintage condition with normal signs of use and aging. On the case there is localized wear/discoloration of the gilding visible; see the detail photos for a good impression of the condition. The dial shows light patina appropriate to its age.
A charming and authentic vintage Omega with a nice mechanical movement and the classic 1950s look.
No original box or papers present.
