Plinio Nomellini - Oli Sasso - 1970s

This extraordinary poster, a 1970s reissue conceived by the renowned divisionist and symbolist master Plinio Nomellini, represents one of the milestones of advertising billposting in Liberty / Art Nouveau style in Italy. The work promotes the historic establishment of the company P. Sasso e Figli of Oneglia (Imperia). The composition perfectly captures the era's aesthetics through a refined and sinuous female figure in a classical tunic, elegantly integrated among the branches laden with an olive tree. The dynamism of the lines and the warm chromatic contrasts celebrate the purity and the sunlit quality of the Italian product, making it a magnetically striking and decorative piece for display.
