Royal Rudolstadt RW Rudolstadt Works (Porzellanfabrik Rudolstadt Straus & Söhne A.G.), - Vase - Porcelain

Splendid collectible piece of German porcelain dating from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. Mark: Royal Rudolstadt (Germany). The mark with the letters "RW" set in a diamond-shaped shield and topped with a crown is the symbol of the Rudolstadt Works Porzellanfabrik Rudolstadt Straus & Söhne A.G.), in the Thuringia region, Germany. This mark was used by the manufactory between 1895 and 1924. And a sea creature with its mouth wide open that forms the vase’s opening. On the tail sits a putto or cherub. No cracks, only a break to one wing of the putto (see photo).
