Description of the Work
Oil portrait that pays homage to the Andalusian Rat Terrier (Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz) breed, executed with direct technique using lighting study and canine anatomy.
Selected for the VII Exhibition of Painting and Competition of the Andalusian Rat Terrier in Jerez (Cadiz).
The composition places the dog in the foreground, faithfully capturing the alert expression of its gaze and the pronounced anatomical contrast of its tricolor mask. The treatment of the fur texture on the chest and neck stands out, resolved through visible brushwork and mass values.
Ideal for collectors of animal art, wine-growing environments, country estates, offices, or rustic traditional-styled spaces.
Quality of Materials:
Pigments: High-end Italian Maimeri oils, formulated with high pigment density and pure oils that do not yellow, ensuring excellent lightfastness and gallery-level durability.
Support: Wooden panel with cloth paneling on a rigid backing. Provides maximum dimensional stability (prevents warping or cracking from humidity) and allows safe, quick framing with any type of molding.
Palette: Limited palette of earth tones and neutrals, guaranteeing an timeless, elegant, and clean chromatic harmony in any decor.
