Authentic Moorcroft Pottery vase from England by Walter Moorcroft.
Pattern Columbine Leaf and Berry highly sought after.
Moorcroft 1990-2000, founder William Moorcroft.
Initials WM signature painted in green under the base along with a MOORCROFT MADE IN ENGLAND imprint and a diamond stamp.
Date circa 1990.
Pedestal trumpet-shaped vase with a flared neck and widened tall, slender foot.
Height 28.5 cm, measured with a tape measure; photo provided.
Opening 8.5 cm in diameter.
Decor: tube-lined, hand-painted leaves with star-like shapes at the top in blazing blue that shifts to violet depending on light; stylized trees at the bottom with cream-pink buds, pale pink and green background.
Tube-lined enamel flambé finish, a brilliant finish characteristic of Walter Moorcroft.
Material: glazed earthenware.
Condition: good vintage condition with no chips or cracks; slight signs of wear at the foot under the base; colors vivid; glossy enamel.
Provenance: old private Belgian collection, Montpellier.
