This cloth comes from our collection of Asian texttiles which over a period from 1990 to 2010 we have acquired in situ both in local markets and from specialized dealers.
Provenance and cdescriptions have been carefully checked and established by consulting the rich literature on Indian and SE-Asian textiles and from conversations with local experts.
