Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A hand‑blown crystal teardrop‑shaped sculpture and paperweight with a vivid red spiral core, made in Lithuania, dating to 1990–2000, measuring 12.5 × 7 × 7 cm and in as‑new condition.
Description from the seller
Spectacular decorative sculpture and large-format paperweight, handmade using the traditional artisanal glassblowing technique. The piece stands out for its stylized teardrop silhouette, with an exterior finish completely smooth and mirror-polished.
The total transparency of the outer crystal functions as a three-dimensional optical lens that magnifies its fascinating internal composition: a fluid and dynamic ribbon or spiral in a very vivid fire red that organically climbs toward the apex. This chromatic core is wrapped by a subtle and dense mantle of trapped microscopic bubbles (the "bullicante" technique), imparting a beautiful effect of glints and depth when exposed to direct light.
The base is cut flat and polished for a perfect, stable resting on any surface. A solid piece of great weight, visual elegance, and excellent technical quality, suitable for collectors of studio glass or contemporary interior design projects.
