Description from the seller

Title
Decanter/Art Bottle Archimede Seguso in Murano glass with 24 K gold, early 1980s
(Label 037)
Text
A refined decorative decanter in precious Murano glass blown in ribbed form, entirely handmade by the famous Archimede Seguso furnace. The piriform body, in transparent glass with finely ribbed texture, is topped by a magnificent elaborately carved hot-sculpted stopper, featuring elegant naturalistic leaf shapes in shades of blue and crystal. The stopper is enriched on its inside with a hot application of 24-karat gold leaf, submerged, which gives beautiful warm golden reflections when illuminated. The item is my exclusive property (single owner), purchased personally in the early 80s (circa 1981-1983) at the historic showroom of the Luci Group - La Murrina of Olgiate Comasco, where I worked as an employee at the time. On the body of the object remains perfectly preserved the original transparent label of the Murano Glass Consortium (brand introduced in 1981) bearing the official factory code 037, which certifies and guarantees direct attribution to the Archimede Seguso furnace. A piece of history of high-end Murano design and craftsmanship. It is presented in excellent vintage condition, perfectly intact, with no chips, cracks, or restorations. Cleaned and preserved with the utmost care.
Dimensions:
Total height 26.5 cm
Maximum diameter 10.5 cm
Base diameter 6 cm
Mouth opening 3.5 cm
Weight 407 g
