Description from the seller
Château Cap de Mourlin, Vertical 2010, 2015, 2016, 2020 & 2x 2022
Château Cap de Mourlin 2010 is an iconic Saint-Émilion Grand Cru from the Libourne region. This classic blend, dominated by Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, expresses beautiful maturity through its aromas of blackberries and toasted notes, powerful yet beautifully rounded. The tannins are silky and the palate is full-bodied and firm, with lovely aromas of candied fruit, prunes, blackcurrants, and roasted notes.
Despite the climatic challenges of the 2010 vintage, this wine demonstrates masterful winemaking and the quality of its terroir, where the mixture of clay-limestone and sandy-gravel soils brings both depth and great finesse.
The estate draws on the historical tradition of Saint-Émilion, a region whose thousand-year-old expertise is recognized worldwide. Respecting this heritage, Château Cap de Mourlin produces high-quality wines, refined by rigorous aging in oak barrels. The result is an elegant red wine with perfectly integrated tannins, offering a balanced taste that reflects the excellence of its appellation.
Food and wine pairings: Pairs beautifully with beef, duck, lamb, or mature cheeses.
notes :
-Decanter 90/100
-James Suckling 93/100
-Robert Parker 91-93
