Description from the seller
Giuseppe Quintarelli – Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva 2011
One of the most prestigious vintages of Giuseppe Quintarelli’s Amarone Riserva, produced only in years judged exceptional. 2011 earned 97+ Parker points and is regarded as a wine with extraordinary aging potential.
On the nose it presents a complex, deep bouquet, characterized by ripe cherry, plum, dried fruit, sweet spices, balsamic notes, tobacco, leather, and cocoa. On the palate it is rich, powerful and concentrated, supported by a pleasant freshness and refined tannins. The finish is extremely long and persistent, with notable aromatic depth.
The extended maturation in large Slavonian oak barrels contributes to the wine’s complexity and elegance. A prestigious label, particularly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of Amarone and of great Italian wines.
